Good Lord, Where did the time go. It has been over a year since I used this journal that I am not sure I still know how. Thank God Wendy was over to re-introduce me to it. Now I have to make up my mind to use it more often. Hi Wendy!

I did it! My new baby has four feet and is very handsome. He is now 12 weeks old and his name is Kasey. Kasey is sooooooooo good that I even take him to work. He a beautiful sheltie. I need Auntie Wendy to set up my little FTP site (whatever that it!!) and I will get some pictures up.

Past Week-end

Great week-end. Went to Barry and Bettsy's cottage on Friday. Guys went golfing on Saturday and Bets and I went to Rama. Not a BIG winner but did come home with 27% more money that what I started with.

Really cool stuff though is that I saw up close and in your face a black bear at the dump having his din din. Very cool! Also while I was having my din din a couple of foxes wondered by the restraunt. Also very cool! Fun to see.

This morning Barry, Bets, Ian, Doris, David & I along with two dogs went for a neat boat ride around Hall's lake before brekkie. Back to the cottage for brekkie (which I did not make) and finally a leisurely drive home Weather was great!

Well - that was a blast. Thelma,Louise and Pheebee had fun and definitely let reason blow to the wind. I am a little poorer for it BUT indeed did have a lot of fun. If you read this Austin - sorry a new car is definately out of the questing for your birthday!

David is still on about another dog and unfortunately I am weakening. Maybe - we'll see.

It is 11:30 and I have not heard from Viv yet. She was still asleep at 10:15 but Larry says we are still going. OK - Shirley, Viv's sister has to be taken to the busstop for 2:00 p.m. today. (Bay and Dundas) She is on her way back to Chatham. I am supposed to be at Viv's I guess around 1:00 - I'll wait til I hear from her. Then we are off to four days of being silly and throwing our money away on slot machines. Ah! The decadence. I read in the paper last night that someone said "gambling is a tax on the stupid". A fool and is money are soon parted - something like that. Unfortunately, I tend to agree but do it anyway. We are picking Carol (+1) up in Oakville and head for Niagara for a couple of day. From there, who knows - but have to be in Chatham sometime on Wednesday - then on to Windsor I think. If I win you will know all about it - if I lose (which is more likely) nobody will hear all about it. ha ha

It is finally summer or spring or somethingthing. Whatever - it is warm and the sun is shining. After how cold it was yesterday - wonderful.

Got a groovey new logo thingie. Chelsie is sweet but everyone around seems to have something original and I now have some really original artwork designed by Margaret and enhanced by Wendy. My new thingie is definately ORIGINAL! Like Wendy bummed around all day and found a really coole fake flowers - actually 'silk flowers' shop. Very expensive but really classy. If I get lucky in the next couple of days playing the silly machines I will treat Donna to a new tree and if I get really really really lucky I will treat myself and Donna to a new tree. Anyway I love my new look and thank you know who for implementing it or whatever it is that Wendy does to make it appear.

What a doze I am. My own fault I am bald! Instead of telling hairdresser exactly what I wanted (which I really wasn't sure of) I let him cut it his way. dah.... I never learn. Oh well, by Xmas I should have hair again. An to think it only cost me the better part of $60! I just never learn.

Well, I did it. Normally don't bother at this time of night but the opportunity was there so I took it. I am normally a morning person but went at 5:50 p.m. Had to work off that hamburger and fries. I will have to build in another 5 min in my walk because it is only taking me 25 min - unless I slow the pace a bit. We'll see. Now I have to go out for dinner! ha ha. Just a salad will do.

Aw did it and I'm glad. Still cold out though. Was cooking brekkie this morning (don't ask) and decided the pound of bacon just didn't seem right. Checked the 'best before' date and decided it was best maybe just to feed it to the garbage can. Safer for all concerned. The garbage can didn't complain.

Came home from Lowcrest last night by 9:00 to watch my shows but CSI didn't start until 9:25p.m. Weird - Donna if you taped show on hourly basis I think you are s********d! CTV ran until 11:20 before news came on.. Decided to sleep in today and am now just getting started. I blew Al away for lunch today but will make it up on Monday.

Donna and Sid home sick today and I brought lunch. No I did not make it - good old Tim's. Donna updated my 6FU journal and 24 journal with new pics etc but she does it so fast I haven't a clue what's happening. Oh well, if I play around with this thing long enough surely I will catch on.

Big night tonight - hockey game (I think), 24, 6FU and Judging Amy. I will probably have to watch 24 in the exercise room peddling my butt because other TV is taping 6FU.

Not the best day. Sprinker system doesn't appear to be working and repair guy was here on Friday. There seems to be a leak at the house underground. New repairman will not be here until next Tuesday. Next nursing home calls to tell me mother's rings are MISSING! and nobody knows nothing - as usual. They are going to do an investigation - didley squat that will do - but I'll have to go down there tomorrow. And lastly, Diane beat me by three points on our last game of scrabble giving here two to one for the night. Plus I could feel myself getting fatter and fatter just sitting there playing Scrabble! There just aint no justice.

I am finallly home. Keeping up with Vivienne ain't easy. First to the cottage, then to Rama (and no I did not win anything) then back to pick up her grandson and his friend then to her place to meet David then to dinner then to see the barbershop quartet then finally home. I am exhaused but she is going to rent a movie and the two 11-year-olds are going to try to stay awake all night. The two boys were really good tonight. The show was boring for them but they never acted up, whined, got loud or obnoxious. For boys they were nicely mannered kids.

ah ha - I did not go back to bed. I went for a power walk at 7:05 a.m. for half an hour. I donned my favorite baseball cap, put on some old clothes and just took off. Mind you I really could go back to bed as we speak but I have things to do and places to go.
